Scientists and environment activists keep on trying to raise awareness about the negative effects of pollution. The estimates are that there tens of thousands of tons of plastic waste in the oceans. This, not only pollutes the waters themselves but affects ocean life as well.

Biologists say that octopuses are smart animals which use their environment to their advantage. Given that trash becomes part of their environment, it is no wonder that one little octopus found a plastic cup in order to take shelter. However, the little guy didn’t know that the cup offers virtually no protection in the ocean. Therefore, the divers that encountered it, decided to offer some help.
