A British tourist had an interesting encounter with an unusual creature in South Africa. It is known as camel spider or wind scorpion but it’s actually neither. The eight-legged creature is called solifugae. It is an order of animals in the class Arachnida.
They live in dry climates and feed on insects and other small animals. They are fierce little predators and quite aggressive. They have no venom but they are fast and strong with
scissor-like jaws lined with sharp teeth.
