While your dog is probably unique, its name probably isn’t. Just like yours. 😂 You might felt creative when you were trying to name your dog, but if you chose the name Bella or Max, we have some bad news for you. These two names are the most common names for man’s best friend.
The pet-naming trend has been heavily influenced by pop culture, so there has been an increase of names associated with Game of Thrones and Marvel. In 2019, 24% more dogs were named Sansa and 44% compared to last year. Also 44% more dogs are now called Spider-Man and there are 12% more dogs named Thor. However, they didn’t make it on the top 10 list of most popular names in 2019.
