A terrifying moment was caught on video, when a plane was struck by lightning as it flew through a fierce thunderstorm in the skies above Iceland.
The plane appears to be trying to gain altitude and avoid the worst of the weather, but it is then struck by the huge bolt, which continues down to Earth after it hit the aircraft.
